    Description

    DESCRIPTION:
    This auction is for a lovely 14" tall vintage composition Madame Alexander Sonja Henie doll with a few "imperfections", 1939+.   Incised at the back of her head is "Madame Alexander Sonja Henie".  Body shows overall wear, line crazing and paint loss in places but seems to be strung fine, she is jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips with all fingers intact. Small split on side of head, see photo. A "sweet" face with open and close golden color sleepy eyes that work fine, she retains her upper hair human eye lashes, she has painted lashes below the eyes, single stroke brown eye brows, open mouth with upper teeth and tongue, there is a faint "dimple" in each cheek, a beautiful face. Her blonde mohair wig has a gold hair clip on each side. She wears a replacement print dress and undies. Her skates are original but are missing the blades, she is not wearing stockings and did not come with a doll stand.
