    Description

    This is a fabulous lot for a Dionne Quintuplets collector, all of rare items. The set of Serveware is especially hard to find individually but almost impossible to fine together. If you need more photographs please do not hesitate to request them. You get the 12 inch round serve platter, Which does have light crazing all over,, the 7.5 inch round plate with all five babies, which has crazing also and a hairline crack on back...and the three-piece set of the round plate that features Annette Cecile and Yvonne mug featuring Emily and bowl featuring Marie. The bowl does have a crack and some craze.. The three-piece set and the platter are marked photo copyright NEA. You also get the very rare cereal bowl that has a place for a spoon and a fork. It has yellowing and crazing in the back says sovereign potters of Canada photo copyright NEA. On the left it says I go here says the fork on the right it says I go here says the spoon. Next you get a 9 inch plate showing the birthplace of the quints in calendar Ontario. That says Northland pottery Staffordshire made in England 12/1954 and a royal Winton square plate 6" x 6" that says birthplace of the famous five calendar Canada stamped England. There are five cereal spoons each featuring one of the Quins that were a premium of the Palmolive soap company. They are silver plate and need to be polished. There is also a silver color metal bowl which measures 6 inches and features all five faces and names. Next you get a book. The Time of their Lives the Dionne tragedy by John Nihmey and Stewart Foxman. Copyright 1986. there is a calendar for each year between 1940 and 1944 with all calendar months still intact. You also get a dish towel that has been embroidered with five baby kittens and their mama and says quintuplets. There is a 9 x 7" framed magazine print of the three girls in pink coats and there is also a 9" x 7" news paper Picture of the Quints on their little scooters. Both frames are vintage. And then there are the pictures of the five smiling and the five crying quintuplets by Twelvetrees.They both have water stain on them but they are definitely both still adorable and very difficult to find. Not the Dionnes, But they were part of my collection and other quinters were collecting them as well when I purchase them.The one where they are crying says across the bottom the night was dark and stormy. That one says 1919 by the pictoral review company New York. Obviously these are over 100 years old, so they are in vintage condition.
