    Description

Hi, this is a cute set of 1930s Dionne Quintuplets dolls, 7", made by Madam Alexander and their swan "rocking chair ". This set was the  childhood possession of a friend, has been wrapped up and in closet since her youth.
So one owner, lightly played with.
I'm just trying to downsize my own collection a bit,- I've never displayed them (i'm not a dealer) and my home is no pets and no smokers.  So have a  look at pictures , I've tried to be accurate - use zoom, ask me whatever you want to know or if need more pix. will try to be speedy with reply.
    Swan Seat:
In searching around on  internet - i see that  Its very hard-to-find  and "desireable". It has some  small  scuffs and dings - bald spots in paint - and one "chip" in the wood underneath the cross bar - have a look closely at the pictures with the zoom - it's touched up with paint, to match.  This seat is very firm and sturdy .  Color is  off-white with the details painted in a llite terra-cotta color.   The names of the quints are on the cross bar, they are decals.  Look at it with the zoom - it is an old wooden toy so it's age shows.  That being said - it's cute and nice shape for something 80 years old or so.
    Dolls -
are  composition , 7" in original costumes with Madam Alexander tags in back which read:
"original" "Dionne Quintuplet Dolls" "Madam Alexander , N.Y."
They are in pretty good condition for such old dolls, they are not "perfect", have some crazing and imperfections , as you'd expect with  old play-dolls. (again - zoom in and look over )   So you can display and enjoy or use the pieces and parts if working on a perfect set.  Their stringing on all is good , no dangling arms and legs - can sit and a couple are newly restrung - their . cloths are a bit "dusty" and a couple faded, but cloth is strong and they have their original little safety pin closings in back. They are cotton with edges of a scalloped  white trim (cotton also ) and their bonnets have silk ribbon ties which  are very fragile, some  ends are gone  altogether.  . They have their original litle pins with names on them - the gold color metal is a bit beat up & scuffie (see pic)  .
I RAN OUT of pictures available - but ask me if you need to see something else -& be sure to Ask me whatever you'd like to know before bidding.  THANKS FOR LOOKING
