    Description

    This beautiful Fossil Crinoid, Scytalocrinus, is from the Mississippian era, found in the Edwardsville Formation in Indiana. It was found at the Monroe Resevoir many years ago in Indiana, south of Bloomington. This is not the more famous Crawfordsville crinoid locality.
    There is a long section of stem (~6 inches), the calyx is fully preserved and most of the arms are present. Additional prep is possible if you have equipment.
