MADELAINE Du BAINE/ Madame Alexander N. Y., U.S.A/ All Rights Reserved, complete original organdy dress with lace and ribbon details this 17" tall composition beauty deserves a special place in your doll collection. Manufactured for only three years (c
irca 1939-1941)
she is in wonderful condition with no crazing, cracks, or damages. Her gorgeous face has a closed mouth, lovely sleep brown eyes, (normal cloudiness from age, which can be repaired) smoky eye shadow and finely painted eyelashes as well as sable hair lashes, painted eyebrows and is framed with her original blonde wig in long, sausage curls beneath her original charming straw bonnet with upturned brim, ribbons and floral decoration. She also wears her original, lace trimmed pantaloons, wired petticoat, socks and her black leatherette shoes with side-snaps and bows and is in excellent condition with no stains or odors and is from a smoke free home.
