This Auction is for a beautiful and original Vintage 20” Composition McGuffey Ana Doll by Madame Alexander from the late 1930’s in her original fashion and box! This one is from the original owner - given to her as a young child, and has been stored carefully in a closet for many years.
She comes to you in her original and McGuffey Ana tagged red and white polka dot dress (faded somewhat with age) slip undergarment, apron, shoes, socks, and straw hat. Hat still has elastic band to hold it on, however it is a bit overextended. Human hair wig remains in nice condition. Face has nice upper teeth showing and is in beautiful condition. Dolls brown eyes open and close and seem to be free from age-related damage. Please see photos for details. Her body is in overall nice shape with no significant damage to her limbs or fingers. The back of her head has the “Princess Elizabeth - Alexander Doll Co.” marking on it. The box is included. It has small tears in the four corners of the lid. The box label on the end of box very faintly has her name on it. The box’s four corners are in tact. Also has a price sticker from Stix Baer & Fuller for .99. I have posted the maximum number of photos but please let me know if you need a close up of anything in particular and I will provide it for you. She is a special, loved and well cared for doll that the time has come for someone else to enjoy her. She will be packaged carefully to arrive safely to her new home.
