Busy Time at Home and Work....I may disappear from eBay for a little while or slow down.....I'll be digging up some more good stuff as well for future auctions.
Jane Withers Vintage 17” Composition Doll Madame Alexander With Tagged Dress. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail .00. From a non-smoking home. Please look at all of the pictures.
• Doll is marked on back of head - Jane Withers Alexander Dolls
• Doll has various cracks/crazing/marks/wear/areas that have been repainted
• Eyes are discolored and a tiny bit crystallized
• The dress is tagged - Jane Withers All Rights Reserved Madame Alexander, N.Y.
• Don’t know if the shoes are original or not, although they appear to be pretty old
• The under outfit is probably original as it appears to be pretty old
• The socks don’t match and the brighter white one has a big hole
• There appears to be a bit of stretchy thread on the tight parts of the sleeves of the dress, that doesn’t appear to be original
• There is another tag on the dress that reads - 16
• There are a couple/few places on the dress where the fabric is a bit thin
• There is a tiny stain on the front of the dress
• Overall the dress appears to be in excellent shape
• The under outfit has some tiny holes from pins probably and some stains/discoloring/marks but overall appears to be in pretty decent shape

The vast majority of the items have been in my home for many years, some up to 30. Some were purchases along the way, and on eBay in the last 10 years or so.
*  I am sorry that I am not able to describe these items in better detail, my grandmother knew this stuff backward and forwards but unfortunately she is no longer with us.
*  Nothing I have is a museum piece, these were just collected through the years from all over the place, mostly doll shows and doll shops in Texas.
*  Most of these items are from a collection that spanned 50 years, many of these dolls may have been touched up, repainted, repaired, etc.  Some I can tell and some I just don't know.
*  I am no expert on the
originality
of clothes, hair, accessories etc. Please looks at the pictures and go from there.
*  Items are from a non-smoking home.
* I will combine shipping in most cases (as long as the auctions end in the same few days), just wait for the auctions to end and contact me.
* I have sold stuff on and off for over 20 years on Ebay, under this same name.  If there is a problem please contact me and I will try to work it out. This is not something I am doing just to make a quick buck.
*  Shipping can be expensive, please keep in mind that the actual cost paid to the post office is not the true cost, eBay includes that amount when I am charged fees which is around 13%, If you win an auction and you get your item and you feel your were unfairly charged then contact me about a refund. I loose money on shipping at times, it just comes with the territory.
* I have a very large collection and I intend to list a lot of items in the near future. I have way more items than I can probably ever list.
