PLEASE READ! You are buying as is! Ask any questions before bidding! I am not a dealer or a shop owner just a doll lover downsizing in retirement. This doll is in excellent condition for her age. She still has all of her fingers and toes and original paint which is not flaking. There is light crazing on her hands and feet. Her face is still beautiful with original paint, all her eyelashes, and no crazing that I can see. The back of her head has a few rubs in the paint and a small crack at the top of the head. There are some tiny paint rubs at the side and top of the head also. Her eyes still open and close easily. She has a crier in her cloth torso but it does not work. She wears an original yellow dotted Swiss, smocked dress with a matching lined bonnet. I can find no holes rips tears or stains in these garments. The dress still has its original tag at the neckline reading: “Little Genius” Madame Alexander New York USA all rights reserved. She wears white cotton panties which are also in very good condition. I’m not sure if it’s elastic waist on the panties or not but they do stay up where they belong. Her shoes are a suede like with a bow tie and a gold metal trim both are in excellent condition no stains tears or rips. Her vintage stockings are nylon knit with no stains runs or holes. The only drawback is they slide off of her feet easily so you need to keep a close watch that you don’t lose them. She really is a well cared for doll, which would look great in anyone’s collection.
