Description

Up for auction is a adorable antique Madame Alexander Composition Baby Doll “Pinkie” from 1936.
She is 16” long
There are fine crazing lines on her face but they actually look worse in the photos than in person. Her eyes show age. See close up photos
She has a cloth body with composition hands and lower leg limbs. All in very very good condition.
Her hat, dress and slip are all antique. I don’t know if the pink dress and slip are original. The dress was hand made and are beautifully embroidered.
See photos for marks on the back of her neck that authenticate her origin.
I hand stitched the slip to be the same length as the dress. It was too long before.
The hat is original and has beautiful lace that frames the dolls face.
I hand washed the clothes.
The white bloomers were added.
She has no odors. From a smoke free and pet free clean house
