Madame Alexander Composition McGuffey Ana Doll

Description

This is a 19" composition Madame Alexander "Princess Elizabeth" doll made in the 1930s.  She is dressed as McGuffy Ana.  Her flaws are shown.  The eyes work well, there is some crazing which does not  detract from her lovely face.  She has all her lashes.  She does have a small crack under each eye as noted in the photograph.   Her hair is original and in very good condition with no bald spots.  She is marked "Alexander" on the back of her neck.  Her composition is in good condition with some rub marks at the arm and leg joints.  She has one small crack on her shoulder as shown.  She is wearing her original tagged red plaid dress and white apron.  Her slip, panties , shoes and socks appear to have been replaced.  She wears an appropriate straw hat that I am not certain is original or not.
This doll has been in my personal collection for 30 years, is in very good condition and comes from a non-smoking environment.
