Mini-Plate Fossil Crinoids from Crawfordsville, Indiana

It’s a plate, all right. Just not a large one. This one measures approximately 4 1/2” x 2 1/2” x 1/2” and weighs 6.6 ounces. But within these humble margins, the piece offers, from left to right, a balled up Barycrinus stellatus, very nice; a small but finely detailed Pacylocrinus aequalis, quite nice; and a fulsome Cyathocrinites iowensis, with fine but very well preserved arms.
