Description
Offered for your consideration is RARE find, a 1939-1940 Madame Alexander SNOW WHITE origina composition doll.  This beauty measures 13" tall. She has black curly mohair wig with a pink satin ribbon. Black eyebrows, brown tin sleep eyes with black upper eyelashes and painted upper and lower eyelashes. Red closed lips. She appears to be a bit pale.
Her stringing is a bit loose, however, she can still hold a pose and I was able to take pictures of her without using a doll stand.  She is wearing a tagged pink tafeta dress . with black velvet bodice. There are a few light stains on the front lower portion of the dress that you can see in my pictures. The dress has an attached linen half slip with eyelet hem. Matching linen bloomers with scalloped eyelet trim. A pink velvet cape with pink ribbon that ties under her chin.
Pink knee high rayon socks. Black oilcloth high heeled shoes with pink bows on the top of each shoe. She is a great rare find in original condition. A beauty to have in your collection !
I purchased her from a Doll Estate from an avid doll collector.
