Rare Vintage Jane Withers 13” Composition Doll By Madame Alexander. This little 13” composition doll was made by Madame Alexander in 1937. She features a brown mohair wig, sleepy eyes with light shadow, painted lower lashes, single stroke brows and a closed mouth. She has a full set of lashes. Her eyes open and close as they should. Her stringing is excellent and she can stand independently and hold a pose. Her composition is in excellent condition with no visible cracking, chipping or crazing to her body. There is early light crazing to her face upon very close inspection. There is also a small crack on the edge of her right eye. Doll is unmarked. She is wearing a white cotton dress with a light blue floral pinafore. Clothing is not tagged and the origin of the clothing is unknown. There are some stains on the sleeves that would probably wash out with careful laundering. Condition with USPS Priority Mail.
