This is a rare Vocal Selections songbook from theOriginal Broadway production of the MEREDITH WILLSON musical comedy hit "THE MUSIC MAN" which played the Majestic Theatre in New York City. (The production opened December 19th, 1957 and ran for 1375 performances.) ..... The seam is split about two-thirds of the way up from the bottom, there are handwritten notations in pencil on several of the songs and moderate edge wear. Despite these flaws, this songbook will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
