Pentremites robustus
from the Indian Springs Shale Formation in Indiana. They date from the Upper Mississipian Period, approximately 325 years ago. The blastoids were attached to the sea bed by thin stems when living, allowing them to feed in the currents.
The specimens both measure 0.9 inches high and is 0.6 inches in diameter
