Vintage 1930s Madame Alexander 15" Sonja Henie Composition Doll
This darling vintage doll stands 15 inches high and higher with her skates on.
She wears her original dress tagged "
GENUINE Sonja Henie by Madame Alexander, N.Y., USA
."
The cute dress has a bodice made of lovely bright red taffeta with lace trimming around the neckline.  The organdy skirt has red dot like embroidery (for lack of technical terms for describing this trim) and an attached underskirt.  The dress has not tears and only a couple of small pinholes due to age, which is expected for a doll that 80+ years old.  Underskirt has some fraying and wear  around the edges.  I did soak the dress to freshen it up and the red did not run and the taffeta still has some sheen.
She has ivory satin undies and lace up skates.  One skate is missing the blade.
In her hair she still has original barrets plus other hair pins a past owner put in to hold her curls in place.  She has her painted eyebrows and lashes and bright red lip color with only a little need for touch up color in her eyeshadow and clip color.   She has an open mouth with 4 teeth accented with dimples in her cheeks.
She is made of composition of a fair tone and has light crazing.
She still has a little blushing in her knees and elbows.
I've rubbed her composition with wood filler fill in some of the crazing. She had loose limbs and a wobbly head when I got her, so I took out the cording and put in new cording.  Now she hold her head up well and can pose and raise both arms with tight joints.

I hand deliver all my packages to the postal worker over the counter and watch it get officially scanned in and then receive the paper printed receipt that shows official USPS or FedEx proof your package was shipped.  I will never put your package in a drop box.
