    Description

Vintage Lot Of 3 Madame Alexander Dionne Quintuplets 2-8” 1-7” ALL Original. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail .50. From a non-smoking home. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL OF THE PICTURES.
    • The dolls without the wig are marked Alexander on both the back of their head and their back itself
    • The other doll is marked Dionne Alexander on the back of her head and Alexander on her back itself
    • The doll’s have various cracks/crazing/marks/wear
    • The baby and the one with the wig are pretty loosely strung
    • The doll with the wig has a chunk missing from the front of her right foot
    • The same doll has some damage on the left side of her head kinda below and behind her ear
    • Part of the paint from the taller doll without the wig appears to have come off from the eyeball
    • Don’t know if the doll’s have been repainted in any way
    • Two of the dresses are tagged - Genuine Dionne Quintuplet Dolls All Rights Reserved Madame Alexander - N.Y.
    • The other dress appears to have had its tag cut off as I can see a bit of it left
    • I do believe everything, the whole of the outfits, to be original, aside from the fact that the white shoes appear to have possibly been painted
    • The more pink dress with the tag appear to have had the buckle clasp things re-sewn or maybe they weren’t original, either way the other dresses don’t have those at all
    • The same dress has a little area on the back where it appears to have been repaired/re-sewn
    • The ribbons on the hats appear to have been re-sewn onto the hats or just sewn if they weren’t original
    • One or two of the under outfits appear to have maybe been repaired/re-sewn in between the legs of them
    • Overall, the dresses, under outfits, and hats have mainly pretty minor flaws/stains/discoloring things like that
    • One of the bright white shoes, one piece of the buckle clasp thing has come off, but it’s not missing, it’s pictured, and the sock was sewn to the shoe so there is still some thread in that sock
    • Both shoes have some wear but the darker shoes, one of them is coming apart a bit in the back
    • Some of the socks, if not all, have some stains/discoloring
    *  The vast majority of the items have been in my home for many years, some up to 30. Some were purchases along the way, and on eBay in the last 10 years or so.
    *  I am sorry that I am not able to describe these items in better detail, my grandmother knew this stuff backward and forwards but unfortunately she is no longer with us.
    *  Nothing I have is a museum piece, these were just collected through the years from all over the place, mostly doll shows and doll shops in Texas.
    *  Most of these items are from a collection that spanned 50 years, many of these dolls may have been touched up, repainted, repaired, etc.  Some I can tell and some I just don't know.
    *  I am no expert on the
    originality
of clothes, hair, accessories etc. Please looks at the pictures and go from there.
    *  Items are from a non-smoking home.
    * I will combine shipping in most cases (as long as the auctions end in the same few days), just wait for the auctions to end and contact me.
    * I have sold stuff on and off for over 20 years on eBay, under this same name.  If there is a problem please contact me and I will try to work it out. This is not something I am doing just to make a quick buck.
    *  Shipping can be expensive, please keep in mind that the actual cost paid to the post office is not the true cost, eBay includes that amount when I am charged fees which is around 13%, If you win an auction and you get your item and you feel your were unfairly charged then contact me about a refund. I loose money on shipping at times, it just comes with the territory.
    * I have a very large collection and I intend to list a lot of items in the near future. I have way more items than I can probably ever list.
