Sweet vintage Madame Alexander baby doll - Possibly "Little Genius" but this is just a guess on our part, so we can't say for sure. Manufacturing markings on back of doll's head read: MME ALEXANDER.
Doll measures approximately 11 inches, with a composition head, lower arms / hands and lower legs / feet. Her body and upper limbs are made of pinkish cloth. Her arms aren't designed to pose and she's made to sit (can't stand on her own due to her baby style legs / feet). She has blue sleep eyes (I think they're made of tin, but can't say for sure) and brown real upper lashes (although she's missing lashes on right eye). Her other facial features are painted (reddish brown brows, painted under-lashes and closed red lips). She has brown molded / painted "hair".
She comes clad in the pretty vintage outfit pictured - it's not tagged, so can't say if original or not, but it's quite detailed and fits her well. I didn't attempt to completely undress doll for fear of damaging anything, and because the wrist openings are very snug around doll's hands and I didn't want to damage them.
Outfit was originally white but is now tea-color from age. It includes:
- Lace-trimmed bonnet with faded pink ribbon ties.
- Dress made of a sheer fabric - it fastens in back with 2 white buttons (both intact). Dress has tiny embroidered pink roses and green leaves at the neckline, with lace trimming neckline and sleeves, which also have faded pink ribbon bows. Hem of dress is accented with ruffly braid.
- Off-white petticoat (somewhat tea-color) with lace trim and matching pantaloons, also lace trimmed.
- One pair of cream color shoes (made of oilcloth or something similar) with beige paper soles and faded ribbon ties.

Condition:
Doll and outfit items in good basic condition, but not perfect, as vintage / previously owned, thus sold "as is".
DOLL - As previously mentioned, she's missing upper lashes on right eye. Both eyes open / close fine, but left eye is sometimes a little lazy. Both eyes have some yellowing from age & possibly minor scratches / scuffs. Lids have a little wear. Other painted features: Brows a little faded, there's a rub / color loss on bottom lip. If she originally had blush, it's now worn off. Hair has some rubs / color loss in area with some small chips here and there. She has some lines / rumples in compo of face / head. All fingers and toes intact, but there's some rubs or possibly small chips on some toes. There's some crazing / crackling here and there to doll's compo with a long craze line on front of right leg (might be a stable thin crack, but more likely a crazing line). She has overall soiling from age with some scattered small spots or stains here and there. Cloth body is a little faded with minor soiling and a bit of fabric pilling. There may be loose hanging threads. Some of the factory paint on her compo is a little clumpy in places (intrinsic).  No perfume, air freshener or smoke scents.
OUTFIT ITEMS - Also sold "as is". They look pretty good, considering their age. As previously mentioned, they've aged to a tea-color. They also have some small scattered spots / stains or soiling, with wrinkles, loose hanging threads, possibly a bit of fraying here and there. Ribbons on bonnet, dress & shoes is very faded, with some fraying on ends. The tie on one shoe is cut short on one end and therefore I wasn't able to fasten it properly. There's some yellowing and wear, soiling to shoes. Ties faded & wrinkled with some fraying at ends. No perfume, air freshener or smoke scents.
