We are pleased to offer for auction this 1930's or 1940's
MADAME ALEXANDER COMPOSITION DOLL
. We are not sure if she is a McGuffey Ann or an early Princess Elizabeth.
She is all original.
She has an open mouth with teeth showing. She has brown eyes which open and close and has painted lashes underneath. She has her original braided blonde wig with original bows. She is 15 inches tall. She is unmarked but there are numbers 14 and 20 under her armpits. Her stringing is a bit loose but she holds a pose. This doll is in
VERY GOOD
vintage condition with no repairs. Please note: She has the expected crazing throughout her body and face which is common on vintage composition dolls. There are missing eyelashes on one eye. There is paint loss on her lips. There are light stains and small marks on her pinafore. Her hair bows have fraying on the ends. Her socks have stains and she is missing one shoe. Everything is shown in photos.
