Madame Alexander Composition McGuffey Ana Doll 15”. Meet “Cherry Blossom ” her friends just call her Cherry. She is wearing a red and white gingham party dress with baby doll puff sleeves and black and white stripe piping.
Mcguffey Ana dolls were made from 1937-1943. So let’s see she is in her 80’s! She was made with a very sweet Princess Elizabeth face mold.
Cherry has a blonde human hair wig fashioned with two braids and bangs. She has sleep eyes her eyes are crackle brown, and a open mouth with tiny teeth.
Her composition is in good shape, she has crazing with deep smooth lines but no loss of composition, she has some sort of spot on her tummy it looks to be a manufacturing flaw. Please don’t bid on my dolls if you are not passionate about faded beauty! My dolls are sold “as is” all sales are final. I do not do refunds on on dolls. I try to describe in detail so there are no surprises. I also take photos that you can use as part of the description. Cherry has a vintage hat with a black and white stripe plastic ribbon. She also has a gathered cream colored cotton pair of panties and dingy white socks with black and white piping around the socks that match her dress. Cherry has black Mary Jane shoes. The teddy bear is not included as he was used as a prop. If interested in purchasing the teddy bear it is a Steiff and signed, I bought sometime in the 70’s I will sell Steiff bear separately.
